The Basic Principles of Water Treatment

Water is crucial to our existence. It covers 324,030,000 cubic miles of the earth's surface. This alone would lead us to believe that water is an inexhaustible resource. The truth of the matter is that only three tenths of one percent of the earth's water is available fresh water and suitable for domestic and industrial applications.

North Americans typically use 15 gallons of fresh water per person per day. This amount multiplied by the population of our country alone is staggering but represents only a fraction of the fresh water used in a day. Where does the rest go? To agriculture for irrigation, to power plants for hydro-electic generation, and to industry for processing. Industry alone may be the largest consumer of fresh water world wide. It is imperative that we treat our water right!

Fair Canada Engineering Ltd. is a supplier of process systems to industrial and municipal markets. As water treatment professionals, we can show you how to optimize your water treatment systems.

The Basic Principles of Water Treatment is a three hour seminar offered quarterly.
